Automatic Transcription Solution won first prize of Vietnam Talent 2019

“The Automatic Transcription Solutions “Origin-STT ” were honored in the highest award category in the infomation technology field at this year’s Vietnam Talent Awards. Minister of Public Security – Mr. To Lam and Minister of Information and Communications – Mr. Nguyen Manh Hung awarded the First Prize to the authors.

Minister of Public Security To Lam announced the first-prize product of IT field, this year’s Vietnam Talent Award: Software that automatically converts Vietnamese voices into text, abbreviated is “Origin-STT”.

Origin-STT is a software that converts words into text with an average accuracy of 93.6%.

Highly appreciated for its accuracy, good recognition at a distance (2 meters distance for accuracy up to 98% and from 3 to 5 meters for accuracy to 95%), Origin can also recognize voice in 3 areas: North, Central and South. It is able to identify about 7,000 Vietnamese words, which help to save time and effort.

Origin-STT saves at least 10 times the time and effort of listening to the audio and retyping text after thousands of meetings throughout the country in a year. “
